What I do..
I assist private investors, corporate companies, government organizations and INGOs/NGOs in reaching their project goals by providing novel support using self determined and time-tested solutions and modalities in Project development and Environmental areas. Also, I provide assistance for ongoing projects, considering careful requirement of the client, project, atmosphere and approving agencies with an open mind. Trouble-shoot projects through unique and radiant initiatives acquired through years of learning and incredible experience, and recommend realistic solutions to create promising projects and outcomes.

My background
My professional career started as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Water Resources Organization in India, covering the project development in environmental prospective. Since, then I embarked my professional journey on various project development activities after moving back in Sri Lanka. Joining a consultancy firm determined myself as a “Project Manager cum Environment Specialist” in assisting corporate sector, NGOs, government institutions and agencies, and International Donor Organization. This career path enable me to reach a passion of initiatives through sustained learning, walking through difficult paths, experimenting different ideas, working with patterns and trends, made me reaching a promotional progression in handling Special Projects (i.e. projects which are complicated nature) in the same organization. My prospective involvements indulged me: travelling different places, working together with different groups of people, analyzing obstacles, bottle necks and opportunities, making best and realistic solutions, driving the progress.
In parallel to the above with the Masters Degree in Environmental Science, I transformed my boundaries based on the project requirements and pushed to the limits of working towards consulting opportunities in multidisciplinary areas, such as Environmental Assessments, Prefeasibility and Feasibility studies, Detailed studies, Assessments, Evaluations, Surveys, in the fields; Environment, Water resources, Solid waster management, Construction Development, Social services, pollution control, etc.
Now acquiring with two decades of experience and exposure, I am empowered and engaged in all aspects of a project development from the concept paper level to commissioning, operation and maintenance level. Be it a project development or survey at grassroots level or an environmental assessment or a lead front technology implementation with crosscutting themes or construction development or a comprehensive study leading to policy initiatives, I’m there to assist you towards an explicit journey in accomplishing a successful project.
My interests
I have an endless passion for personal development and spirituality, having attended training courses, workshop sessions and upgraded myself while reading numerous books on personal development.
